BAUDOT / ITA-2

Continuous Asynchronous signal consisting of 1 start bit, 5 data bits and 1, 1½ or 2 stop bits, thus each character consists of a total of 7, 7½ or 8 bits. Most common baud speeds are 50, 75 and 100 baud. Very rarely ITA-2 can be seen with bit inversion. As there are 5 data bits which can be inverted relative to the normal way, there are 25 (=32) possible combinations.
