Hum Remove Filter

 

General description

The HUM Remove filter removes the hum generated typically by AC power source. Typically it has base frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz and other components at frequencies N * base frequency. HUM remove filter estimates automatically the base frequency (takes 5-10 seconds) and then removes the HUM from the audio signal.

Enabled

This enables/disables the HUM remove filter. If disabled, the signal is not filtered.

 

Tone Scan Area

This is the range of the frequencies where the base frequency is searched.
