General description
The channel equalizer models the impulse response of the radio channel and based on the estimate removes unwanted phenomena (for example echo) from the signal.
Parameters
Channel model length
This parameter describes how many taps are used in the modeling of the radio channel’s impulse response. Parameter’s value can be from 128 to 4096 taps. Using more taps gives more accurate estimation but more computation power is needed.
Disabled
This deactivates the channel equalizer.
Stop Adaptation
This stops the adaptation to the channel parameters. So, the channel impulse response model remains the same until this is switched off.
Average time (x0.1s)
With this parameter the channel estimation time can be adjusted. If the time is too short the noise can affect on the model. If the time is too long the model might not be up to date.
