We have found there is more than one version of firmware for the PRO-2051, and some behave differently than others... We had to purchase two radIos to test for the differences, and these differences necessitate (different) delay/timing settings.

Try these suggestions.

Go to the "Select Radio" Options Menu:

Move Timing Slider to a value of 0.001

Check Increase Load/read speed
if no improvement

CHECX the WIN XP box
if no improvement

UNCheck "XP box"

Do these "one at a time" and after each change use the SINGLE bank option. It is quicker than trying to read the entire radio.

Disable any programs running in background such as Norton or McAfee virus program/ SPYbot/AdwareBot etc.

Normally this will fix issues where the radio is giving errors.
