I'm interested in getting the full use out of my PRO-97.  I never learned how to program the trunking systems as the manual provided is not written for us simpletons.  I scanned for years in my youth, before the trunking days,, and purchased a Pro-97 about 2 years ago. I got frustrated with trying to figure out how to program it and put in a few frequencies I knew and listened occasionaly. A freind of mine recently purchased a high dollar base unit and it has rekindled my interest.
 
What products of yours can help me get the full use of my older model scanner,, if I see its potential,, I may decide to purchase a newer model... but why? if I can't figure this thing out.

Dear Tech Support,
 
I have still not been able to program a trunking system into my Uniden BC 246T Trunk Tracker III radio.  Every time I try to ‘Create System’ or ‘Create New System’ from the database that is in view, it loses the frequencies or does not store the trunking system type and all I get is static.  I CAN program conventional systems into it and program the display, etc., however even that is difficult, for example in order to store conventional frequencies I have to write over an existing file.  Anyway,  I downloaded the latest (November) version of the software and it did not help at all, in fact it seemed to get worse.  For example I lost all of the programming I had done before and could not replace it with the new software.  Any help you can give regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.
