It will "update" files that should be updated (like the Scancat new exe file) but files you create or that have not changed remain the same. It only overwrites those that need updating, and will not erase your personal frequency files etc.

Must I uninstall the previous version 1.2.9 before I download version 1.3.1 or will 1.3.1 overwrite 1.2.9? Thank you.
