Uniden came out with a new cable back in about June.
We started getting lots of reports about "can't locate cable / Problems reading" etc, right after that.
It depended on if the customer had the right "driver",
and also we had to do a "fix" to make it work 100% reliably.

INMO - Uniden could have done a much better job of dealing with this,
including some kind of "press release" or "notice"
on their website, about the incompatibilities of their older drivers.


If you have a version much older tha n August 2013,
then contact us for a link to download a NEW version of SCancat with the "fix" in it.
