so why then doesnt the scanlite demo not communicate with my scanner?
it comes up with errors...

PRO-94(B) is supported. This is the model that has a jack on the side labeled "PC/IF".  The OLDER model PRO-94 doesn't have the side mounted jack.

And, you will need the Programming cable that is available at Radio Shack - # 20-047. This is a link to some FAQ answers about this particular model.

Hello Sirs,.....i just came from your website and i am interested in your SCANCAT-LITE software and i couldnt find a product listing of the supported scanners,,,,,,
i just purchased a RADIOSHACK-PRO 94

does your software support my scanner?

also,i downloaded the demo and it dint show the pro-94...ONLY THE PRO-94B and i couldnt communicate with my scanner,my scanner does have download/upload capabilities
