I got this from our associate that programs a lot of Uniden's radio including the BCD325's

You need to install the below firmware update. It is new and would affect the programming if not done for the BCD325P2 & BCD996P2. The units dealers currently have in stock are the first batch of the units and to this date there are not any units that arrived to the US with the new firmware. Please see below as what the issues would be without the update.

I THINK this may also affect the "connectivity" issue you said you are having.

This update addresses the following issues:

• Fixes an issue where the scanner would jump to an incorrect frequency on APCO Project 25 Phase II systems
• Improves an issue where the scanner would go to an APCO Project 25 channel and not produce audio
