I forgot to mention that you really need to read the BC246 Addendum. It is a PDF file and we also placed a shortcut ICON on your desktop pointing to it.

You can delete ALL the systems in your radio with "Scancat".

When you get to the program radio window, on the left there will be a "List box" that displays all the systems in your radio.

There are three buttons at top of that list box
RIGHT CLICK ON THE "DELETE" BUTTON TO DELETE ALL SYSTEMS IN THE RADIO.

This will not erase the "other" settings, only all of the individual systems.

Mr. Spinger,

I talked with you earlier today about whether I should Initialize the BC-246T Scanner before using your ScanCatLite Plus Software. From reading the Instruction Manual, this can be accomplished by pressing 2,9 while turning the scanner on. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, the version I purchased from you in Feb. 05 was 8.5. Is there a later version available and if so how much.
